Armed Forces Networks: Sussex and Kent & Medway
About the course
The training is designed for people who are interested in helping services across Sussex and Kent & Medway. Focusing on Armed Forces veterans; their immediate family or carers who have little previous experience of the Armed Forces. The training is held at Reserve Centres to assist with giving the training a military feel; and all communication is in a military format. Also included is an opportunity to understand why they should support the work; what resources are available and the need to network. Presentations are also given by partner organisations to the Network.
Armed Forces Networks: Sussex and Kent & Medway is a multi-organisational group which includes members from the NHS, MoD, Armed Forces Reservists, Mental and Physical Health Clinicians, the Royal British Legion, SSAFA and other interested charities and organisations from across Sussex (i.e. police and local authorities).
