Introduction to Boingboing's approach to resilience (IBRA)

Introduction to Boingboing’s Approach to Resilience (IBRA) Drawing on Resilience theory and evidence; this training session enables participants to plan resilient moves for themselves and the people they work with. The introduction explores what research studies have indicated about why some young people are more resilient than others. Boingboing’s approach is to consider how systems change and a social justice approach can be effective alongside helping people to help themselves – Beating the Odds whilst also changing the odds. The training makes use of free to download resources on Boingboing’s website and enables participants to work together to apply the evidence to their own circumstances at work or at home.
