Drawing on Resilience theory and evidence; this training session enables participants to consider their own resilience at work. The training examines issues around burn out; motivation; purpose and how we measure our own success so that participants can be aware of their own processes at work and how they may be harnessed to improve resilience. Using the Resilience Framework participants can explore how their workplace systems can support resilience as well as practical strategies for implementing their own resilient moves inside and outside of work. We also use a framework to support resilient supervision. The training makes use of free to download resources on Boingboings website and enables participants to work together to apply the evidence to their own circumstances at work or at home.
Working with and alongside children, young people, families and adults exposed to social disadvantage and inequalities is at the heart of our work. Resilience research and practice provides powerful knowledge to help people having particularly tough times.
