About the CPD course

This training module is designed to equip participants with the information; knowledge and understanding of the main principles of the Protection of Childrens Act. This course provides up to Level 2 knowledge and understanding of the principles held within the "Safeguarding Children" competency framework. The course discusses the risks posed to children through the act of abuse and neglect. It also stresses the importance of the role of healthcare professionals the protection of Children from abuse.
