Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
About the CPD course
Climate change poses significant risks to the stability of the financial system; and to mitigate and appropriately price these risks; companies are being asked to disclose climate-related financial information. This intermediate workshop uses good practice examples to provide participants with an understanding of how to implement the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) recommendations within their organisation. The training will be delivered in partnership with stock exchanges who are members of the UN Sustainable Stock Exchange Initiative.
The Carbon Disclosure Project is a global organization, with regional offices and local partners spanning 50 countries. There are now companies, cities, states and regions from over 90 countries that disclose to CDP. CDP runs the global environmental disclosure system. Each year CDP supports thousands of companies, cities, states and regions to measure and manage their risks and opportunities on climate change, water security and deforestation. Over the last two decades the CDP have created a system that has resulted in unparalleled engagement on environmental issues worldwide.
