About the CPD course
This course is designed to make suitably qualified staff more effective Cover Supervisors; Participants gain a deeper understanding of their role; scrutinise a job description; undertake a self-assessment against a person specification template to identify essential aspects they meet and identify ways of meeting the desirable elements; This exercise will inform future their training; Part II explores effective Classroom and Behaviour Management Strategies; Use the Language of Choice to become less confrontational; remaining calm; construct routines; get students to follow instructions and use consequences effectively alongside an agreed behaviour policy; Assessment is by discussion; paired and group activities.
