The objective of this course is to enable existing and new taxi drivers to develop their understanding of how to safeguard and protect children; safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults as well as how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child; young person or vulnerable adult has been abused.
Having been started by a team of driving instructors in 2012, Green Penny have grown to become a well established company with a good reputation for quality training. Whether it’s driver training for small or large fleets, training for individuals or teams of employees working towards a qualification, or development courses for driving instructors, our training produces excellent results.
Our training team are all Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency Approved Driving Instructors (DVSA ADIs) and on the DVSA Register of Fleet Trainers, with many of them also holding nationally recognised teaching qualifications.
We work with over 55 councils around the country to provide taxi driver assessments, as well as working with a number of large and small companies to provide on road training to their van or car drivers. We also provide courses in safeguarding which includes safeguarding for taxi drivers.
