Managing the Devolved Budget

This is an innovative approach to self-development of skills and abilities in the area of managing budgets. It is aimed at public sector managers (and those working in a non-profit environment) who have responsibility for managing and controlling budgets. These managers are often non-financial professionals who have to manage budgets as part of their overall management responsibilities; or within their job specification. The programme aims to improve the financial competence of learners in the area of managing budgets and to enhance both the underpinning knowledge of the subject and the ability to practically implement budget management techniques in the workplace.
