About the CPD course
The diagnosis of mycosis fungoides (MF) and Sézary syndrome (SS) is challenging as many of their clinical and pathologic features are non-specific. MF can mimic benign skin conditions like eczema/psoriasis: and it is not unusual for diagnosis to remain elusive for years. The role of the pathologist is essential for accurate and timely diagnosis of both conditions. Diagnosis and classification should be based on a combination of clinical: histological: immunophenotypical and genetic data. This slide deck has been developed by Kyowa Kirin International plc.in partnership with Professor Maxime Battistella: for healthcare professionals to increase understanding around the diagnosis and clinic pathology of MF and SS.
