HEART recognises the importance of supporting colleagues who speak to vulnerable customers coping with different stages of grief. Bereavement is not just about death: loss can come in many guises such as financial; relationship and employment. Recognising that vulnerability can come in many forms. HEART equips learners to understand the behaviours of grieving adults; their needs; how to have positive conversations and how to remain personally resilient when professionally dealing with death on a regular basis. Learners have included funeral care/ care/social care workers; front line contact centre staff; health professionals and H&S reps.
