About the CPD course

This course considers the rationale for and the importance of partnership working in providing support to care leavers. It considers the need for effective networking skills and explains the nature of the brokering role of the Personal Adviser in accessing services for young people. Participants will look at who makes up their network; the networks that young people have; effective negotiating with services; undertaking challenging conversations involving young people and colleagues form other agencies and resolving issues that may arise.
