About the CPD course
PM Psychologys two-day course will introduce participants to the way in which the psychological needs of by parents/carers can affect their interactions and relationships with children and other adults. Day 1 focuses on the knowledge needed to recognise when someone is experiencing mental health issues and explores way to support and work with those with difficulties. Day 2 introduces participants to issues relating to individual differences in cognitive functioning; personality and attachments and considers how individual differences affect behaviours. The emphasis throughout is on knowledge and skills that will support participants in their everyday professional life.
Offering a UK-wide service, PM Psychology is an established firm of expert witness forensic psychologists and therapists. We undertake assessments of adolescents and adults who are involved in both care proceedings and
pre-proceedings and we provide reports to the Family Courts, Social Services and other agencies.
