About the CPD course
PBMpro is our BILD-certified physical intervention programme. It complies with the RRN Training Standards.
This 9-day course enables you to train your staff to understand behaviours that challenge being exhibited by people they support and work towards preventing them happening (proactively) and managing them (reactively) if they are unavoidable.
The theory includes understanding the function of behaviours that challenge and facilitating the construction of proactive plans to improve the individuals quality-of-life.
The practical includes safe, ethical physical intervention and self-protection techniques.
The training is suitable for Learning Disabilities (Adults & Children), Older People, Acquired Brain Injury & Mental Health settings.
