About the CPD course
The CPD covers wet and dry rot, insect manifestations and appearance of timber degradation. It examines the conditions required to cause timber failure and the solutions commonly used, including the benefits of rebuild solutions, replacement and chemical aids appropriate to the problem and the property. The CPD is presented using a mix of technical drawings, product information, case study and relevant applications. Learning Objective: This CPD will aid the understanding of building professionals as to the type and characteristics of the causes of timber decay. It will highlight the various methods of treatment and how those can be used appropriately to maintain the structural integrity of a property. Course Duration: 1 hour
