About the course
This course gives an understanding of how autism is defined and what this means in the context of legislative framework for safeguarding children; identifying safeguarding issues in children and young people with autism and what to do if you have concerns about a child; either as a victim or perpetrator. This course also looks at how to better communicate with children with autism and strategies for managing behaviour and restraint.
