Safeguarding of vulnerable adults

We provide theoretical instruction which includes the following – key underpinning values and definition of abuse; the purpose of the safeguarding system; the different categories of abuse with an in depth insight to each category; being aware if the general indicators of abuse that a vulnerable may show; what the staff’s responsibilities in recognising and reporting any actual or suspected abuse are; recognising that the victim will have needs and the process of an investigation.
