This course will provide a clear overview of emergency lighting. It will explain aspects of emergency lighting principles from what is regarded as adequate emergency lighting to what is required to design an emergency lighting system for a building that meets current regulations and standards. We will look how emergency lighting is installed; commissioned and tested. The course will also provide an overview of the equipment available to use and how standards; regulations and building requirements affect the design of emergency lighting specification.
