The unit includes the theoretical basis from which to appreciate how this impacts upon children within the classroom and behaviour typologies that may be displayed by these children. The unit includes discussion around Neurological development and what this means for professionals working or supporting children within the classroom setting.

INSET training for individual schools or cluster groups (half day or whole day) onsite or offsite. National conferences for staff to attend- these are annual conferences hosted at the University of Sunderland in partnership with a wide range of organisations.
