About the CPD course

This course focuses on the experiences and needs of unaccompanied asylum seeking children and young people as they leave care. It offers legal definitions in relation to UASC; focuses on issues of age assessment and addresses the effect of asylum status on planning with young people. Further; the course recognises and discusses the impact and effects of trauma UASC and looks at the risk of this group being defined as All Rights Exhausted (A.R.E.).
