About the course
This unit introduces the theory of attachment and attachment difficulties which may be displayed as differential attachment styles. The unit includes the theoretical discussion on the emergence of Neurological understanding of the impact upon development and NeuroSequential Model of Therapeutics which evolved from the work of Perry B. Building on NMT the unit considers the application of Mobius Care approaches and how these can support children and young people developed by Brandt K. The unit provides 8 hours certificated CPD accreditation.
We offer training and support in a range of ways including Online eLearning units with CPD hours recognised on Certificate of Completion. INSET training for individual schools or cluster groups (half day or whole day) onsite or offsite. National conferences for staff to attend- these are annual conferences hosted at the University of Sunderland in partnership with a wide range of organisations.
