About the CPD course
This course provides a more detailed look at planning for councillors, including what planning is, why we need it, the framework of how it operates in england and Wales, and the system and processes of how it works in practice, with reference to the requirements of the course participants and their local authorities. the course will also cover the Coalition Government’s approach to planning, the changes to the
planning system as set out in the localism act, and other planning reforms recently introduced.
