About the CPD course
A training course aimed at professionals who work with young people to build their capacity in tackling and preventing the marginalisation and violent radicalisation among young people in Europe. The training consists of the following five modules: 1) Introduction: understanding radicalisation from young people’s perspective; 2) Listening to young people from a Human Rights Perspective; 3) Good Lives Model and Positive Psychology: Self- confidence; self- acceptance; self-empowerment; 4) Conflict Resolution and Critical Thinking. When discrimination leads to conflict put yourself in someone else shoes; 5) Evaluation and feedback session. The training will be delivered by using a number of PPT presentations (information sheets; videos; images; presentation of statements) practical activities; paper sheets and pens.
