Introduction to Effective Purchasing

‘Introduction to Effective Purchasing’ is a three day face to face training event covering a range of core procurement subjects needed by anyone involved in the purchase of goods; materials and services. It will rapidly equip attendees with knowledge and skills to make an impact in their business. Subjects include sourcing suppliers; producing RFQ’s and purchase orders; total acquisition cost; quality; ethics; negotiation and contract law. The event is a stimulating mix of lecturing input; Q&A sessions and team exercises and presented by a qualified purchasing professional with years of experience gained at a senior level in high-profile organisations.

Seminars are led by industry experts presenting their ideas/research/case studies as well as interviews & Q&A sessions. There are networking opportunities across the show for people to meet and share ideas/ best practice. Sponsors host breakfasts; lunches and drinks at the event to further networking and learning opportunities.

The Education Show 2019

For the first time in 28 years the UK’s leading and largest summit for senior leadership teams; school business managers; and middle management moves to London on the 24th and 25th January 2019.The Education Show is solely dedicated and designed to make every aspect and function of school life a success through showcasing the best products on the market alongside game-changing CPD sessions. With the Education Show running alongside Bett; Europe’s biggest EdTech festival; it presents an unmissable chance for those in education to be part of positive change at a local and global scale. The event is content-driven; with 30 minute sessions across three theatres carefully programmed by using our research with the industry to select appropriate themes and potential speakers. There will be a mixture of sponsored sessions from solution providers and we advise to put forward a practitioner/ educator as their speaker. All sessions across the show are free-to-attend for educators.
