There was a Ł901 million overspend on service budgets by local authorities in 2016-17. Reductions in the Revenue Support Grant (RSG); the implementation of welfare reform; the growing pressures of adult social care and the impact of Brexit place additional strain on local government budgets.

Linked Up is our new Domestic Abuse Awareness Training and Resource. Help reduce domestic abuse in teenage relationships by undertaking our full-day staff training session and learn how to deliver a 6 week programme directly to young people at risk. The aim is to raise awareness of peer-on-peer abuse and domestic abuse; focussing on the experience for young people and the additional barriers they face. This full-day course is interactive and activity based. Designed to support staff and young people in schools; residential settings; social care; amongst others; to identify signs and risk factors and to enable young people to be better informed; to make healthier choices and know where to access support.

The full colour training pack includes: A 14 session group work programme which builds a comprehensive programme on Healthy Relationships; Risk; CSE and E-Safety. 10 exercises that can be delivered one-to-one with young people who are vulnerable to; or experiencing CSE.30 Flash Cards to support work with young people who speak English as a second language or who have Special Educational Needs.
