Designated Mental Health Lead in Schools - Day 2

This is a 5 day course run over a year to support schools to identify and train a designated mental health (MH) lead as identified in the Transforming Children and Young People’s Mental Health Provision Green paper. This course provides an audit; knowledge and skills for the individual attending whilst providing resources to support practice and develop policy in their schools. It promotes a ‘whole school wellbeing’ approach to MH; looking at whole school systems and promotes simple strategies for looking after each other. It informs about signs and symptoms of specific MH difficulties; how to support or seek assistance.

LearnED Roadshow- Helping teachers maximise the use of EdTech in the classroom

The LearnED roadshow is a series of CPD events taking place in ten English regions. The event is run jointly by BESA and the Department for Education (DfE). LearnED is a conference for head teachers and senior school leaders and will aim to inspire and inform school decision-makers through peer-to-peer panel discussions about the effective use of EdTech to improve teaching and learning outcomes; assessment; support leadership and management across the whole school.
