In September 2020; schools in England began delivery of statutory Relationships; Sex and Health Education (RSHE). This event will support and share best practice in primary and secondary schools delivering the new statutory curriculum; offering a range of practical advice; ideas and guidance that schools can adopt and adapt for their own circumstances. We will hear from RSE; PSHE and wellbeing experts; including schools; about what is expected and required under the statutory guidance and the early lessons learned from delivery since September. Pupil wellbeing and good mental health will also be a strong theme running through the conference programme. We will look at challenges to RSHE delivery and good mental health education and how we can overcome these. We will look at embedding the new curriculum and mental health work across the school; and phase-specific challenges. The wellbeing challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic will also feature strongly.
