This training is held on a Monday evening and is spread over a ten week period starting on the 3rd October through to the 5th December. It delivers a comprehensive understanding of internationally recognised human rights instruments and standards; how they work and how they can be applied in practice. It will provide access to leading human rights practitioners and academics and a coherent account of international human rights institutions. It shows the relevance of international human rights law to domestic law and identifies how human rights standards influence the development of law and policy. It will provide anoverall improvement of critical awareness of key issues in contemporary human rights.
