Technology continues to influence every aspect of work; from how people learn; to how businesses operate. But the way people learn is changing. In 2020; more than 75 percent of the workforce will be Millennials; and they have learning expectations that must be met if organizations hope to attract the best and brightest employees. This is the new learning era. It’s both exciting and challenging for learning and talent development professionals. To be relevant; talent development efforts must align with business needs and strategies; operate as a business partner; and engage stakeholders throughout the organization. To accomplish these three things simultaneously; professionals must invest in the resources; technology; and even tap into how their peers are addressing these challenges.
