This is a whole day classroom based course that covers essential components towards mandatory and statutory compliance in health and social care. The course also includes practical components in resuscitation; manual handling and infection prevention. By the end of the day; learners will be expected to demonstrate; knowledge and understanding; skills and related attitude in: Health & Safety at Work (Including Fire Safety); Information Governance; Conflict Resolution; Equality & Diversity; Safeguarding Children; Safeguarding Adults (Including Mental Capacity); Infection Prevention & Control (Includes COVID); Moving & Handling (People & object Moving); Resuscitation (Choking & Anaphylaxis); Resuscitation (Adult Basic Life Support).

Moving & Handling Training Course

This is a half day classroom based course that covers essential components towards mandatory compliance in health and social care. The course also includes practical components in manual handling. By the end of the day; learners will be expected to demonstrate; knowledge and understanding; skills and related attitude in: Legislations; cost of Manual Handling; Anatomy & physiology of spine; Principles of biomechanics and ergonomics; MHOR 1992; L.I.T.E; Safe lifting techniques; Safe use of Moving and Handling aids; Demonstrations; role play and assessment.

Resuscitation Training Course
Training Course | Global Access Limited t/a HSCE
This is a whole day classroom based course that covers essential components towards mandatory and statutory compliance in health and social care. The course also includes practical components in resuscitation; manual handling and infection prevention. By the end of the day; learners will be expected to demonstrate; knowledge and understanding; skills and related attitude in: adult and paediatric (In line with the UK Resuscitation Council guidelines & Algorithms; including local DNAR directives); choking; anaphylaxis airway obstruction; effective compressions and ventilation; recovery position; secondary survey (Practical demonstration; role play and assessment); individual roles and responsibilities.
