    The essentials of ethical trade: Managing Risk: Going Beyond Audit’ is one-day workshop. By exploring the realities of a risk-based approach we will help you identify good social auditing practice, as well as looking at other ways to develop ethical supply chains. The workshop will allow delegates to understand the range of approaches to implementing labour codes of practice and know how to assess risk and prioritise ethical trade activities.

    This one-day training on modern slavery helps organisations to understand the impact of the new Modern Slavery Act and how they can improve practices that tackle the root causes of modern slavery in supply chains. It provides expert guidance on how to use due diligence to identify risks before they occur and how to remediate when issues become evident. The training takes a multi-stakeholder perspective (companies; NGOs and trade unions) and will enable participants to consider who will be reading and reviewing their Modern Slavery Statement and what should inform it.
