Understand the purpose of the CAF/Early Help; Consider who the CAF/Early Help supports and why; Know and understand the legal requirements the duty of care in relation to CAF/Early Help applications and the statutory requirements; Reflect upon the EYFS welfare requirements in relation to the CAF /Early help; Responses to Integrated working to implement the CAF/Early Help assessments; Review local thresholds of need and the LSCB; Reflect upon case studies and identify who may benefit from the CAF /Early help assessments or a child who maybe at risk of significant harm; Follow the process of the CAF/Early Help and documentation; Consider Local Safeguarding Children Board links and the processes used; Plenary any further questions.
