Companies House reforms: What it will mean for businesses and accountants

28 Feb 2024

About the event

The passing of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act means that small companies and micro-entities will have to file a profit and loss account; with small companies also having to file a director’s report. This change will mean that turnover is available on the public register. The Bill also removes the option for companies to prepare abridged accounts and means all the annual accounts will need to be filed using software. We’ll look at the impact for accountants and their practices; including: Options for filing accounts; The impact on clients; What needs to go on P&L for micro-entities.
