Interplay between the Stalker and Victim - Managing the Dynamics

Training Course Action Against Stalking

About the CPD course

We explore through a 'real life' case study and its outcomes whether a person who stalks can be influenced by the reactions of their victim. It gives an understanding of the multi-strand nature of events; risks and need for prompt support. We demonstrate the life impact and give insight into victim reactions and behavioural changes in response to being stalking; creating vulnerability. We highlight the stalker's intent; the Law and behaviours classed as 'stalking' under the Law; the effects of underlying mind-sets which subconsciously drive behaviours. This is a participatory course with a written assignment and formal assessment.
