Neurodevelopmental Conditions and Challenging Behaviour

This training has been developed to provide an awareness and understanding of the day to day challenges of living with neurodevelopmental conditions and the surrounding behavioural issues to staff working to support children; young people and families. Identifying challenging behaviours; exploring why a child/young person may behave in the way they do. Providing understanding of how sensory processing difficulties can result in challenging behaviours. Identifying support and strategies to manage challenging behaviours; and understanding how to encourage positive behaviour by using various techniques.
