About the CPD course
The law covering computer working is the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 2002. You will often hear computers referred to as ‘DSE’ which is short for display screen equipment. DSE includes PCs; laptops; tablets and smartphones. The regulations apply to workers who use DSE daily; for continuous periods of an hour or more. Your employer must protect you from the health risks of working with DSE. This training shows DSE users how to set up their workstation correctly and reduce the risk to their health.
