This course enhances healthcare professionals’ understanding of the digital technology and how it can support patients with diabetes. mHealth refers to any medical and public health practice supported by mobile devices; such as mobile phones; which can help the detection and management of chronic conditions by the collection of substantial medical; physiological; lifestyle; and activity data. This course outlines the use and benefits of the new mHealth technology and how it can support healthcare professionals in treating people more efficiently and most importantly to improve diabetes self-management.
