About the CPD course

This module provides delegates with an understanding of what we mean by anxiety; how it appears in autistic pupils; what the key triggers are; and what teaching staff can do to support autistic pupils. Delegates will reflect on their own experiences with anxiety and consider what has worked for them in practice when looking to address anxious thoughts and feelings in autistic pupils. The aims of this module are to enable delegates to understand: How autistic pupils might show anxiety; What can cause anxiety in autistic pupils; What they can do to prevent and reduce anxiety in autistic pupils.
