About the CPD course

This course aims to: Raise awareness; educate and train healthcare professionals comprehensively in using effective telephone consultation skills in triaging consultations involving children. Increase the early identification of children at risk of harm by healthcare professional (clinical/non-clinical). Develop the skills of healthcare professionals undertaking telephone triage to use a structured approach and increased awareness of “cues’ that identify children at risk and ensure that the correct resources are accessed.
