About the CPD course
BIVDAs sustainability training programme is an initiative in collaboration with SGS; the world's leading testing; inspection and certification company; to empower BIVDA member companies to reach their sustainability and environmental objectives. Sustainability is an issue which the IVD sector must address in light of the NHS Net Zero commitments; corporate-social responsibility and the global task of environmental protection. The training programme; delivered by SGS and funded by BIVDA; will allow one person per member company to attend free-of-charge; with a discounted price for any second attendee also. Courses will run from July to December 2021 (with the exception of August).
The British In Vitro Diagnostics Association represents the IVD Industry in the UK, to Government, professional bodies, the public, and at MedTech Europe. Giving support to members on regulatory issues, BIVDA also promotes the clinical and cost utility of IVDs in the provision of effective healthcare, both in acute diagnosis and in the prediction and prevention of disease.
