About the CPD course

Manual Handling of people and objects is a training course designed to understand the effective principles of movement. Carry out manual handling tasks in a safe and reasonably practicable manner; preventing musculoskeletal disorders; information alone will not prevent risks to service users and support staff. Our Manual handling training course is designed to provide information and guidance on the manual handling regulations and the importance of conducting dynamic risk assessment using LITEE (load; Individual Capability; Task; Environment; Equipment) with a practical training session in manual handling techniques and using a safe system of work to reduce work related injuries.
