About the CPD course

Introductory course which meets requirements for mandatory training for healthcare workers in the UK and Jersey. This course is split into 4 modules: Legislation; Infection control; Fluids and nutrition; Allergy awareness. This course has been designed by a Food Safety trainer and Registered Nurse to give staff members the foundation knowledge they require about food hygiene; whilst working in a healthcare environment. Key points: Includes both Jersey and UK legislation and agreed ways of working; Follows Food Standards Agency standards and guidelines; Covers the theoretical requirements for standard 8 of the Care Certificate.
