About the CPD course

Understanding Violence is a full day training session for practitioners. Firstly; the session looks at theories; statistics and research into the causes of violence; to support the practitioner to understand why clients they work with might present as violence or aggressive. Understanding Violence allows practitioners to understand national responses to violence and how the impact services whys of working. The training concludes by looking at best practice and resources available to the practitioner; with a specific interest in lone working and safeguarding.
