About the CPD course

An introduction to the issue of the impact of parental imprisonment. Children impacted by parental imprisonment are largely invisible; there is no statutory mechanism to identify who or where they are; resulting in children being left without the appropriate support. This training will equip participants to be more informed about the issue and to be; at a minimum; parental imprisonment curious. By the end of the training; you will have increased your understanding of the number of children impacted; the negative impacts and what can be done to mitigate them.
