This Advanced Practice Module will investigate the science of mitochondrial function and dysfunction; the impact of oxidative stress; and nutritional and lifestyle influences on both health and disease. Clinicians will learn how to regenerate compromised mitochondrial function and how to address the varied underlying causes of fatigue; depression; headache; and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. Evidence-based modalities to address pain will be introduced; and the profound potential of the healing partnership will be both explored and experienced.
