About the CPD course

This course is for pharmacists who wish to start work in a GP Surgery as a clinical pharmacist. The starting point for a clinical pharmacist is to be able to work in a GP surgery on non-patient facing roles which predominately consists of processing medication requests and clinical letters (Level 1). This includes being able to competently use the GP software to process medication request tasks in a safe manner. It covers clinical decision making (level 2) which includes checking the monitoring requirements of the medication and the medical conditions.
