About the CPD course

The Dementia Awareness Training uses a blended approach to a better understanding of dementia. The course is suitable for all those with an interest in dementia such as family; care givers; professionals etc. Learners will be given the opportunity to experience dementia; through the use of technology and simulation equipment. The course covers all aspects of dementia including the symptoms; types of dementia; diagnosis; treatment and the resources available. The learner will also be given the information and knowledge to support someone living with dementia; it is an interactive and fun course.
