About the CPD course
This e learning course is aimed at any of an organisation’s staff who handle personal data including administrative and operational functions and management across all sectors. It provides an overview of the GDPR; its definitions and principles as well as describing the rights of data subjects. It includes advice on simple precautions to avoid the risks of accidental unauthorised disclosure of personal data. Check tests are incorporated for each module with a final quiz which is a pass/ fail. Learners will receive a certificate of completion.
We offer a diagnostic assessment of current data processing activities accompanied by recommendations for remedial action as required. This includes a inventory of the data being processed and high level mapping of data flows in and out of the organisation.
For larger SME’s and clients wishing to engage a longer term partner to provide support, CaPS has developed configurable support packages. These provide a mechanism to enter into a programmed piece of work to undertake the diagnostic work and commence a project for improvement, providing an excellent platform for sustainability. Our support package also provides a fractional Data Protection Officer service.
