The Therapeutic Parenting Training is an educational programme designed to help foster parents; adoptive parents and caregivers of children and young people who have attachment difficulties and complex and developmental trauma who are presenting with emotional; cognitive; social; and challenging developmental and behaviours and concerns. The therapeutic parenting training programme helps foster and/or adoptive parents and caregivers to understand the causes and develop the skills necessary to support their child or young person's healing and growth.
We are a specialist trauma-informed therapeutic assessment and evidence-based treatment service, working with children and young people in partnership with Local Authority Children’s Services, Adoption & Post Adoption Services, Families with Special Guardianship Orders, local authority foster parents, Residential Family Assessment Centres, Schools and Virtual Schools, SEN Services and Family Law Solicitors
