About the CPD course
This training course highlights the best practice techniques to be used by incident loggist when completing a decision log on behalf of the incident commander or other decision maker. We discuss the legal aspects of record keeping; the areas in which a log can support decision makers; where decision loggists may work; their role and responsibilities and how these fit into the local command system. Using a blended approach of presentation; group and individual tasks and practical exercise the delegates have the opportunity to apply the tools identified in the course to gain a greater understanding of their use.
