About the CPD course

This course is suitable for operatives who are required to install safety critical anchors to concrete and masonry. The training certifies the successful candidate as a Competent Installer in accordance with BS8539:2012 Clause 7.1. The training course is comprised of 6 training modules; resource documents and a final exam. The course takes 2-3 hours to complete; but can be taken in bite-size pieces over a six month period.

First established in 1979 the Construction Fixings Association represents the major manufacturers of fixing systems which are set in drilled holes in all construction materials including Concrete, Brickwork, Blockwork, Stonework and Plasterboard - many with European Technical Assessments (ETAs). The CFA offers support to all stakeholders involved in the "Fixings chain" - Specifiers, Distributors, Contractors, Installers and Testers and works with UK and European bodies to satisfy our mission statement of "Ensuring best fixings practice".
